Rosewood is a perfect little town. So quiet and pristine, you'd never guess it holds so many secrets. Some of the ugliest ones belong to the prettiest girls in town -- Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily, four estranged friends whose darkest secrets are about to unravel.

One year ago, Alison, the Queen Bee of their group, disappeared and the girls swore they'd never tell what really happened that night. They thought their secrets would bond them together, but just the opposite is true. Then again, who's to say what the truth is in Rosewood. It seems everyone in town is lying about something.

Now, as the mystery surrounding Alison's disappearance resurfaces, the girls begin getting messages from "A," saying – and threatening – things only Alison would know. But it couldn't be Alison. Could it? Whoever it is, they seem to know all the girls' secrets, and seem to be watching their every move. The girls are friends again, but will they be there for each other if their dark secrets come to light?

The perfect little town of Rosewood holds more than its fair share of secrets, and for four estranged friends, Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily, their darkest ones are about to unravel. Episode 2: The Jenna Thing (Jun/15/2010)
With Jenna's return to Rosewood, the girls are forced to face an unpleasant incident from their past that sealed their friendship forever, especially since "A" won't let them forget it. Meanwhile, questions about the night of Alison's disappearance begin to arise, as the events of that fateful night continue to haunt Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna.

Episode 3: To Kill a Mocking Girl (Jun/22/2010)
The girls try to pay tribute to Alison's memory, but they are still being faced with unresolved issues. Aria has an unpleasant encounter with her father's former mistress, and Spencer must face a vengeful Melissa, while Hanna is trying desperately to get her boyfriend to forget the 'old Hanna'. But with "A" taunting them every step of the way, the girls will find that leaving the past behind is much harder than they first thought.

Episode 4: Can You Hear Me Now? (Jun/29/2010)
The girls block e-mails and text messages from all unknown users in an attempt to stop "A," but their problems are far from over. One girl receives a surprise visit, while another receives a gift from a prospective paramour. And just when things couldn't get any more complicated, the girls find out that trying to keep "A" away comes with a price.

Episode 5: Reality Bites Me (Jul/06/2010)
The girls must pay the penalty for trying to ignore ''A''. Whether it is a family in crisis, parental praise for an undeserved honor looming over their head or wearing totally unfashionable scrubs while working off a debt – the girls must deal with it all. And on top of that "A"'s lipstick message is still haunting them.

Episode 6: There's No Place Like Homecoming (Jul/13/2010)
While the homecoming decorating committee is knee deep in balloons, the four friends from Rosewood are just trying to stay afloat. Dealing with heartbreak, a boyfriend's virginity pledge and a vengeful sister all takes a backseat when one girl makes a shocking homecoming date choice that puts her in a possibly sticky situation.

Episode 7: The Homecoming Hangover (Jul/20/2010)
Spencer, Aria, Emily and Hanna must deal with the consequences of their disastrous homecoming dance. Family, friends and boyfriends are all in flux, and the girls need to act fast to prevent the situation from getting worse. To top it all off, they are also hiding killer information about Toby, and text messages from someone other than 'A' are causing tensions to rise in the Montgomery household.

Episode 8: Please, Do Talk About Me When I'm Gone (Jul/27/2010)
The girls are ready to say goodbye to Alison as her memorial service approaches. However, Alison's brother Jason shows up and the gang quickly finds out that saying goodbye is the last thing he wants to do. The clique wants to celebrate Alison's life in a peaceful and positive way, but with Detective Wilden back on the scene and Jason taking over the girls realize they may not have prepared for what is to come. Meanwhile, Emily and Maya go on their first date.

Episode 9: The Perfect Storm (Aug/03/2010)
Rosewood gets a massive storm on the day the students are to take their SAT test, which causes the school to postpone the examinations. Trapped in the school during the storm, the girls' personal lives become stormy as well. Drama strikes each girl differently and manifests itself into different situations. After the storm passes and the girls get to go home, they all come to the realization that taking the SATs would have been a much easier task to complete.

Episode 10: Keep Your Friends Close (Aug/10/2010)
"A" targets the girls once again as they attend an upscale camping trip for one of their friend's birthday party and they fear that "A" may want to crash the fun. The FBI becomes involved in Alison's murder case because of new evidence that they have found. Also, Hanna faces difficulties because of her financial situation.

Episode 11: Moments Later (Jan/03/2011)
Hanna is sent to the hospital and she gets a surprise visit while she is there. Meanwhile, her friends try to find out who "A" is.

Episode 12: Salt Meets Wound (Jan/10/2011)
Hanna is released from the hospital, but confined to a wheelchair. Meanwhile, Aria struggles with the fact that Noel knows about her affair with Ezra, Spencer's relationship with Alex hits a road bump, and Emily invites Maya to meet her family.

Episode 13: "Know Your Frenemies (Jan/17/2011)
"A" tempts Hanna to return her old criminal ways. Meanwhile, Noel continues to go after Ezra; Emily's mother stops pretending to accept Maya; Spencer adjusts to her sister's marriage; and the girls get some surprising assistance.

Episode 14: Careful What U Wish 4 (Jan/24/2011)
When the school's dance-a-thon rolls around, the Pretty Little Liars are too preoccupied to think about raising money for a trip to Washington, D.C. Hanna is focused on her family's financial situation, but will she be able to refuse the job that "A" has for her? Emily is still hung up on Maya, so she enlists the help of Caleb, the school's new bad boy. Spencer finds tolerating Ian more difficult than ever when an important possession goes missing. The Liars try to retain some normalcy in their lives, but even everyday activities are filled with drama. Emily is forced to deal with a teammate who is threatened by her return to swimming, while Aria and Ezra make plans for their first date in public. Meanwhile, Hanna is still being manipulated by "A", and Spencer turns to Ali's brother, Jason, for help.

Episode 16: Je Suis une Amie (Feb/07/2011)
A crucial swim meet for the Rosewood Sharks is the setting for Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer to experience a lot of turmoil. Emily and Paige (Lindsey Shaw) go for round two, as they are pitted against each other to compete for the anchor leg of the big race. And Caleb calls in his favor with a guilty Hanna as she tries to deter Aria from asking too many questions about Ella’s ticket to the museum opening. As secrets start to be revealed and antagonists become less threatening, will this become a game changer for the girls? Meanwhile, Spencer takes on the task of tutoring a fellow student to try and get some answers.

Episode 17: The New Normal (Feb/14/2011)
What happens to one liar when parent-teacher conferences come around and her father sits face to face with the love of her life? What about when another one reaches out to a tarnished innocent, when no one else will? And what about the liar who is taken by surprise by an unpleasant person? And don't forget about the last liar who is getting way too comfortable with someone she might not want to trust. Whatever it is, "A" is sure to have something to say about it. As their doubts, fears and suspicions grow, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer start to wonder what the true face of evil looks like. Episode 1: It's Alive (Jun/14/2011)
The Liars are back for the second season premiere, and the mystery continues. With Ian missing, and the police questioning them, no one seems to believe them, especially the girls' parents who have sent them to therapy together. Their therapist who seems more confused than before she met them recommends them to spend some time apart, which their parents take very seriously.

Episode 2: The Goodbye Look (Jun/21/2011)
Emily is contacted by a college swim team recruiter. While the Liars struggle with being separated, Hanna doesn't know who to reach out to when her father shows up in Rosewood unexpectedly.

Episode 3: My Name Is Trouble (Jun/28/2011)
Aria signs up for a college pottery class to get closer to Ezra, Emily lies to her mother about her swimming scholarship status, and Spencer spies on Alison's older brother, who has just moved back into Rosewood.

Episode 4: Blind Dates (Jul/05/2011)
Hanna helps Lucas score a date, while Emily deals with the aftermath of her mother spilling to everyone that she has a scholarship offer.

Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer have made a crucial mistake - they told someone about "A" and now they must pay the price. With the clock ticking and "A" calling the shots, the girls are sent on missions to do "A's" bidding in order to save their trusted confidant. Each mission will ultimately lead to what the four liars want the most, but at a costly price to their loved ones and themselves. Can Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer go through with their given tasks in order to save one, or will they ignore "A" to save those around them from being hurt? A month has passed on "Pretty Little Liars" since Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer were arrested and a lot has changed in Rosewood, and with the girls. No longer the mighty four best friends, the Liars are at each others' throats and Emily has been iced out completely. But what could have divided them so severely? Has "A" finally won the game of divide and conquer? With Emily now truly on her own, is she ripe for "A's" picking?

Episode 15: A Hot Piece Of A (Jan/09/2012)
After their recent encounter with "A," Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer think they may be closer than ever to figuring out whom "A" really is. But when the girls decide to enlist Caleb's hacking skills to help with their quest, Hanna no longer wants a part of the plan. The last thing Hanna wants is to get Caleb involved in something else shady and also to open the door to questions that Hanna can't answer. Once the girls realize that "A" has a helper, Hanna has no other choice. Instead of focusing on figuring out who the "helper" is, Hanna decides to put all of her efforts into throwing a surprise party for Caleb. But will a surprise party at Spencer's lake house be the diversion Hanna is looking for, or just a recipe for disaster?

Episode 16: Let The Water Hold Me Down (Jan/16/2012)
With Lucas missing and questions surrounding what happened out on the lake, Hanna can barely catch her breath. With Caleb determined to find his friend, Hanna's reluctance to help only causes more problems. Can Hanna really tell Caleb what happened in the boat without tipping him off to her larger "A" problem? And if she did tell him, would he be willing to stick around after hearing all the horrible things Hanna has done? Meanwhile, Spencer follows a lead about "A" which guides her to an unexpected place and revelation.

Episode 17: Blond Leading The Blind (Jan/23/2012)
The best way to get to someone is through the people they love, and "A" knows this better than anyone. Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer have had to sacrifice a lot at the gloved hands of "A," especially when it comes to love. Toby continues to pursue Spencer, knowing that she is keeping something from him. With another "accident" possibly popping up at any minute, Spencer is desperate to keep Toby safe and can think of only way to truly end it. Also worried about her relationship, Hanna begs the other girls to stop using Caleb to help with their search. The more involved Caleb gets, the bigger target he becomes. But is the valuable information Caleb is finding more important to the others than Caleb's safety? Meanwhile, Aria is desperate to save her relationship with Ezra still not returning her calls. Will one more "date" with Holden give Aria the opportunity to get the answer from Ezra she is longing for?

Episode 18: A Kiss Before Lying (Jan/30/2012)
After putting her foot down about Caleb with her friends, Hanna begins to feel that she is getting the cold shoulder from them. Aria, Emily and Spencer seem to be up to something, but she can't quite seem to figure out what it is. But what Hanna may take as the cold shoulder, could really be just a case of guilty consciences from her friends. And if her best friends avoiding her weren't enough, Kate's first day at Rosewood High is looming. Now that her evil step-sister is invading Hanna's space, she needs her friends more than ever. Meanwhile, Emily hopes that her mother's visit to Rosewood will be a good opportunity to re-introduce her to Maya and have a better outcome this time.

Episode 19: The Naked Truth (Feb/06/2012)
Rosewood High’s "Truth-Up Day," is not just an opportunity for the students of the school to air their grievances and stop bullying, but also a chance for Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer to get answers to some burning questions. Spencer looks to find answers on what is going on between Jason and her father when Jason shows up as a chaperone; Aria continues to question Holden on what exactly he is up to during their "date nights," and Hanna tries to figure out the latest situation with Kate. But will the girls be ready for what they find out when shocking truths are revealed? Meanwhile, Emily gets help from an unlikely source to get back on the Rosewood swim team.

Episode 20: CTRL: A (Feb/13/2012)
Caleb's involvement in cracking "A's" phone has had Hanna worried from day one and now "A" is determined to punish him for it. With Det. Wilden and Garrett now circling Caleb on bogus hacking charges and in possession of his computer, Hanna and her friends are convinced that this won't end well. What are the police looking for on Caleb's computer and better yet, would could "A" have possibly planted on the computer to interest the police this much? Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer may soon get another example of what happens to people they involve in "A's" game. Meanwhile, Aria learns what Holden's been keeping a secret as Byron starts to question the relationship.

Episode 21: Breaking The Code (Feb/20/2012)
The Liars may have a fifth member, as it's revealed that "A" is torturing someone outside of Ali's BFFs. Meanwhile, Wren becomes a much-needed support for Spencer.

As Rosewood's annual Father-Daughter Dance arrives tensions are high with the Liars and each of their fathers. Meanwhile, Ashley is snooping around attempting to find out what's wrong with Hanna.

The Liars don't know what they're in for when they meet Duncan, a boy from Ali's past. Meanwhile Toby strolls back into town, and Jason leaves the girls with a treasure: a box of Ali's old belongings.

Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer search for the meaning of new clues leads them to a doll hospital that holds some very familiar looking dolls and a little boy that knows more than he leads onto. Meanwhile, Jenna's surgery brings about more than just the possibility of regaining her sight.

Episode 3: Kingdom Of The Blind (Jun/19/2012)
Spencer's mom decides to take Garrett as a client. Spencer is convinced that her mother only agreed to do this by force. After she begins to investigate, her suspicions are not confirmed and she comes across a bigger Hastings family secret.

Episode 4: Birds Of A Feather (Jun/26/2012)

Mona is released from the sanitarium and returns to school, but she faces an uphill battle in which she must prove to Hanna, Aria, Emily and Spencer that she has transformed and can be trusted.

After the shocking events at the school marathon, Aria, Emily and Spencer are sure now more than ever that Mona is up to her old tricks. Hanna, still holding out hope for her former friend, is not so sure. With Mona seemingly popping up everywhere, it sure seems like she has a plan. But with no real evidence to prove Mona is back to her evil ways, how can the Liars prove what they believe to be true? Meanwhile, Aria's fears about her father grow stronger when something vital that is hidden in her room goes missing.

Episode 16: Misery Loves Company (Jan/22/2013)
Aria is down for the count when sidelined by the flu, so Hanna and Emily are on their own to follow up on a new clue. Surprisingly, Meredith steps up to help take care of Aria while her father is away, but when it starts to look like Meredith may have ulterior motives to her nursing Aria back to health, Hanna and Emily turn their attention towards saving their friend. Is Meredith just trying to start anew with Aria and be her number one fan, or is there reason for her friends to be concerned? Meanwhile, Spencer takes a break from all the sleuthing to surprise Toby for their anniversary.

Episode 17: Out Of The Frying Pan, Into The Inferno (Jan/29/2013)
Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer have more than most, but with all of the secrets they are holding it may be starting to get overwhelming for them. Aria knows that she should tell Ezra about his son, but she isn't ready to face the idea of what it might do to her relationship. Hanna, on the other hand, is sure Caleb is keeping a secret from her and she is determined to find out what it is. Spencer is fed up with all of the secrets and decides she no longer wants to play the games. Will their secrets drive the girls to take desperate actions that could, in turn, make the situation worse? Meanwhile, Emily learns more about what Ali may have been hiding the summer before her murder.

Episode 18: Dead To Me (Feb/05/2013)
Now that Ali's remains are back with her family, the DiLaurentis' are set to bury her again, giving Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer another opportunity to say goodbye to their friend. With everything that has gone on since Ali's disappearance, the girls are divided about going to yet another memorial. Aria, Hanna and Emily are ready for another round of goodbye, if not for them but to also support Jason. Spencer, on the other hand, has had enough and wants nothing to do with the burial. With the ROSEWOOD P.D. breathing down Hanna's neck about The Radley security footage, she opts to confess the truth to those closest to her in hopes they can help. Aria continues to search for answers, with help from Emily, on whether Ezra is as guilty as he seems. Spencer works together with Caleb to track down the new threat. Meanwhile, there is awkwardness all around when new love interests emerge and old ones resurface.

Episode 15: Do Not Disturb (Feb/09/2016)
In order to prove Sara Harvey is behind the threats, Team Sparia reunites to find evidence of Sara's involvement before they go to the cops. Caleb puts together a plan with Hanna to fight back against the new stalker by using the security footage tapes. Meanwhile, Aria gets unexpected news from her family, and Ali comforts Emily in her time of need.

Episode 16: Where Somebody Waits for Me (Feb/16/2016)
While new discoveries are made in the investigation of Charlotte's murder, the truth begins to emerge about the Liars' personal lives. Spencer is concerned to learn her mother is keeping a secret of her own. Aria confesses to Liam how deeply she's involved with Ezra's book. Ali admits that she and Elliott are more than just friends. Mona reveals where her true allegiances lie. Caleb, Spencer and Hanna deal with the complications of new relationships.

Episode 17: We've All Got Baggage (Feb/23/2016)
As romantic relationships move forward, the Liars investigate a new suspect in the murder case. With Ezra back in Rosewood, Aria must tell him the truth about her involvement with his book. Spencer and Caleb deal with a media leak that affects the campaign. Hanna takes a look at her life after an incident at work. Emily gets harassed by the stalker while she continues the search for Sara.

Episode 18: Burn This (Mar/01/2016)
After the stalker nearly killed Emily, the Liars begin to take the threats more seriously and attempt to keep their mouths shut to prevent any further harm. Caleb must deal with the collateral damage of taking the blame for the leak about Yvonne; Spencer tries to comfort him and get him to tell the truth. Emily goes on a mission to track down who came after her. Aria and Ezra move forward with the novel.

Episode 19: Did You Miss Me? (Mar/08/2016)
fter Alison is confronted with a sudden, mysterious jeopardy, the Liars decide to take things into their own hands for a counterattack. Hanna and Caleb work together to develop a plan to come face-to-face with the tormentor. Emily and Spencer team up to investigate if Mona had any involvement with the murder. Aria and Ezra continue to work on the book though it might be more difficult than anticipated.

Episode 20: Hush, Hush, Sweet Liars (Mar/15/2016)
With the stalker threatening to kill all of them if they don't divulge Charlotte's killer by the election, the PLLs and company, at wit's end, must boldly fight back. As Spencer and Toby work together to catch Sara Harvey, Yvonne wonders where Toby's true affections lie. Ezra finishes the last chapter of his book, finally ready to say goodbye to Nicole; Aria comforts him during this emotional time and old feelings bubble to the surface. While Caleb works intently on his plan to protect Hanna, they reflect on what could have been.
