A&E's dramatic series THE GLADES™ follows Jim Longworth, an attractive, brilliant, yet hard to get along with homicide detective from Chicago who gets shot by his captain after being wrongfully accused of sleeping with his wife. After being exiled from the department, Longworth relocates to the sleepy, middle of nowhere town of Palm Glade, Florida, where the sunshine and golf are plentiful and crime is seemingly at a minimum. Only this town outside the Florida Everglades isn’t quite as idyllic as he thought, as he finds people keep turning up murdered. Each case pulls Longworth off the golf course and reluctantly into his element as one of the sharpest homicide detectives to wear a badge.Between practicing his short game, trying to get a date with Callie - a quick-witted, beautiful medical student with a 12 year-old son and a husband in prison - and trying to solve countless homicide cases, Longworth’s transition to his new surroundings is a bit more difficult than expected. He’s realizing the skies in this new town are always sunny...with a chance of homicide.

Good opening episode i liked when Jim said to Callie he was enjoining the view and making the golf course a crime scene so not to disturb his game while solving the murder

Interesting case when Jeff and Jim stumble upon a plane in the middle of the forest and the dead body of Oliver Hendricks but Jim has to question a  range of suspects that include a drug runner, a swimsuit model, and a teenage boy. Draining the gas tank of the microlight to stop him getting away was clever

Who would thought a bird case would leading to interesting episode but the question now what will he do with Jeff's mother i mean it feel like that relationship has a lot roadblocks.

Great episode When a Category 2 Hurricane is coming to The Glades, Jim and Carlos investigate in the murder of three victims. I liked the connection between Evelyn and Carlos but stealing the generator was great

Carlos was lucky with the explosion but was he lucky because Jim wasn't close enough. Jim planting the glasses was a clever was to get her to confess and her prediction about life in prison was amusing and perfect timing for the slow dance but it didn't last long

I liked the way Jim got the guy to put his hand up so his guys could arrest him and Jeff giving his mother a hard time after reading his arrest report. Callie having a go at Jim for letting her son see his father criminal past was predictable but Jim arresting the peeping tom without letting Callie and her son was nice

Jim really has a way making his cases more interesting but it's a never a good idea for kid to left alone on the computer unsupervised. I also like  Jim arresting the peeping tom without letting Callie and her son know was great.

Callie's passion for treasure and helping Jim with his research was nice but figuring the treasure map was in the helmet great, Callie getting angry when she thought they were lost was funny but arguing to distract the bad guys was impressive and did he miss his chance when she said she was going to ask for a divorce

Callie passion is really interesting she had an exam to study for yet she was willing to help him with his investigation maybe she should change profession and become a detective rather than a doctor. I agree the argument so as to distract them was nice tactic and the fact that they knew each other well enough to pull it off was great. I think he was a bit surprise about it what if it doesn't work out he doesn't want to be responsible for her divorce her son father because of him.

This episode was great i loved the ending when arrested them at the press conference and Callie and Jim thing is still unsolved but new women certain put interesting twist because she know he like Callie and doesn't really have too much expectation.

I like that Jim is giving Callie the space to make her own mind up about her husband without any pressure and arresting the Senator and his wife was great because they thought they was above the law

Well that what a call season finale not only good murder but just when Jim and Callie have spend the night together that call came in that her husband is getting out of prison after deal with DA. i knew this would been clif-hanger but it will make for interesting second season

Nice season final with Jim letting Kim shot his trophy case was great but what Carlos did to Daniel was cruel but nice at the same time and at least Heather helped Jim make his mind up about Callie

Season 2 of A&E's original series The Glades, which stars Matt Passmore and Kiele Sanchez, will premiere Sunday, June 5 at 10 PM. Last season, the Fox Television Studios-produced drama became the most-watched series in network history, averaging 3.1 million viewers.

Nice returning episode and a close call for Jim when he car exploded and Callie and Jeff prepare for Ray's release from prison but Jim's relationship with Callie looks like it's in jeopardy

well that was kind of predictable. But Jim not picking up her call is wrong. He should just explain. Now there's gonna be much more drama And I wonder if it was really the organised crime man who told IA about the affair between him and Callie. Cause that's gonna cause him some troubles too.
But nice way to handle the mob killing that wasn't a mob killing. But I knew from the beginning Rafael was in love with her.

The taser accident was funny and Samantha taking Jim phone to talk to Daniel was great but Samantha and Callie were both very lucky and solving three crimes at once was impressive

I kind of expected Sam to stick around. It's going to create a lot of jealousy for Callie, but considering what she is doing to Jim, she deserves it. Also loved the thing with Daniel, he looks like he would do anything for her, just because she's a pretty firl, but I don't like her for taking advantage of it and I also don't like it what she did to Jim back in Chicago. I think she's going to cause some troubles. But I like how she profiles the suspects, but she was only half right about this one.

Yes this is going to be an interesting love triangle but Callie is stringing Jim along by going back to her ex and i thought the missing money in her account would of been the final straw

me 2, but I think that's going to be something that's coming back later in the season. I think her husband has done something criminal again. Otherwise he couldn't pay it back that quickly. But we'll see. For the kid though, I hope he stays clear of that life. btw do you know what he did to get send to prison? I forgot.

Well, the tension between Callie and Jim was obvious, but Callie still needs to learn a lot about policework, cause if she's going to fall for every sad story, she will be fooled a lot.

The 12-year old who took the car for a joyride was impressive as a driver but asking for her video chase was amusing and it looks like Ray's past almost forced Callie to considers going into witness protection but Ray lying about it being safe and going into witness protection by himself was a surprise

I agree about that. She really brought this all on herself. If she had made her descission sooner, Jim wouldn't have been in this situation. But maybe Jim is making the right descission cause if she really wanted to do it, she would have already done it. The girl was right, triangles aren't fair, but she's the one causing it.

A&E Renews ‘The Glades’ For Third Season



A&E has renewed its flagship drama series The Glades for a third season, which will launch next summer. The news comes a month after the cop series starring Matt Passmore ended its second season, which averaged 3.9 million viewers, 1.55 million of them in the 18-49 demographic and 1.74 million in adults 25-54. In 18-49, The Glades was up 12% from Season 1. With the renewal, A&E will have 3 original series on tap for next year: The Glades, Breakout Kinds, which will return for a second season, and the recently picked up to series newcomer Longmire. The Glades is produced by Fox TV Studios and executive produced by creator Clifton Campbell and Gary Randall.

Daniel trying to impress Erica with Carlos's autopsy on the cadaver was interesting but what a mistake thinking she was a suspect and what a catch discovering it was murder and not a crash victim and no wonder Buckley had it in for Callie from the start

Having to work the case with his old partner who he send to jail was amusing but how the hell did he even pass the detective exam is beyond me moving a vehicle off the crime scene than finding body 8 years later was ridiculous.

I agree, this was a bit ridiculous, but it was fun to watch. Callie having to make a deposition and then her supervisor turning 180 was nice.

How nobody noticed the smell from the decomposing body during the eight years it was in the car boot while the car was in the pound was ridiculous and Mike trying to escape was amusing considering Jim had read the plot in his book

Strange case which lead to Manus and Carlos finding themselves victims of the Sovereign's paper terrorism attacks which was interesting and some of the Sovereign names were priceless but her co-worker being the killer was a surprise, what a turnaround for Callie after listening to that recording

Well it's good thing that she didn't play that recording to the other lawyer because it did sound like entrapment. Can an individual set themselves apart from the government ?.
