About Cougar Town
Cougar Town focuses on a newly single 40-year-old mom Jules Cobb and her teenage son. In a small town of Florida, the most important thing is the Cougars high shool football team, which is very appropriate since there are tons of divorcees prowling in the area looking for young men. Jules doesn't want to be one of them, but after an ugly divorce and her 40, she desperately wants more action in her life. Encouraged by her best friend Elle and her assistant Laurie, Jules tries to enter back into the dating scene. To her surprise she meets Bobby a very young nice guy, as he discovers that she still has what it takes.

We meet Jules, a women who in her twenties took on marriage and a baby instead of experiencing the dating scene. Now in her forties, she finds herself as a divorcée and eager to live the dating scene that she missed, With the help of her friend, Laurie, her younger co-worker who wants to show Jules to go out there and have fun; Ellie, her sarcastic, married and content to her average but lovable husband Andy. There's also her family, her ex-husband Bobby and her son Travis, who will test her patience, and her new forty-something divorced neighbor Gray, who doesn't believe that Jules can date again.

Episode 2: Into the Great Wide Open (Sep/30/2009)
Jules tries to party hard like a twenty something and ends up looking like a total fool, when even her best friend Ellie, told her not to do it.

Episode 3: Don't Do Me Like That (Oct/07/2009)
Jules family and friends crash the 10th date with her new boyfriend, Josh. Ellie and Laurie help Jules realize that it's OK to be selfish once in a while, when Jules has a disastrous experience in bed with Josh. Scott Foley guest stars as Jeff, a very wealthy potential home buyer who is interested in one of Jules overpriced homes. Meanwhile, Ellie with reserves leaves the baby with Andy for a day to prove that she trusts in him.

Episode 11: Rhino Skin (Jan/06/2010)
Dr. Amy Evans is the meanest but the best dermatologist in town, therefore Jules and Ellie do anything to get an appointment with her despite the harsh ridicule. But when Jules finds out that Dr. Evans is dating Bobby, and Jules is determined to stand up to her and protect him. Meanwhile, Travis starts working for Barb but turns out that is more that what he bargained for.

When the relationship between Jules and her boyfriend start to heat up, Jules starts to get scared. Meanwhile, Laurie seeks diversion sex with an unsuspecting friend and Andy spills the beans about his big secret.

After her breakup with Jeff, Jules turns to Bobby for some cheering up. But when a bottle of wine leads to a passionate kiss, will they agree it was only a casual meaningless kiss? Jules tries to prove to Grayson that men and women can be just friends without any sexual tension. Meanwhile, with Jules encouragement, Andy buys a motorcycle from Laurie, without telling Ellie, and Travis goes with Bobby on a man-trip for some "noodling", only to be mortified by the discovery of what noodling actually means.

Episode 18: Turn This Car Around (Mar/24/2010)
Sheryl Crow guest stars as Sara, a confident wine representative, who sets her sights on Grayson, but is he strong enough to be with her? Meanwhile, Ellie tells Jules that she cannot change something about her because of her age and Jules tries to prove her wrong by not drinking for a month. While Bobby's new dog is Andy's competition.

Episode 19: Everything Man (Mar/31/2010)
Grayson introduces Sara to Jules and company. Jules likes Sara from the start and when Grayson is overly attentive with her, Jules warns him to back off before Sara runs away. Meanwhile, Jules new main house attraction is her perfect new bathroom with a "talking toilet". Grayson finally finds inspiration with the help of Sara for his new song.

Episode 20: Wake Up Time (Apr/14/2010)
Jules is thrilled to console Travis after his first break-up, but when she discovers the reason for the break-up, she comes to an unwelcome truth about herself. Meanwhile, Sara watches Jules and tries to decide whether she is a threat to hers and Grayson relationship. She turns to Ellie for advice, while Andy looks for any resemblance between his son Stan and himself.

Episode 21: Letting You Go (Apr/28/2010)
Jules struggles with the news that Travis was accepted to two of his college choices and now he must decide between California and a school 20 minutes from home. Grayson is there for Jules in this times. Meanwhile, Smith returns from law school and Laurie considers her feelings for him, while Andy wants to do whatever he wants in his house and not be commanded by Ellie's rules.

Jules encourages Travis to submit a graduation speech. When she reads the speech without Travis' permission and with Grayson's warning, she's crushed when she is not mentioned in it. Episode 7: Fooled Again (I Don't Like It) (Nov/03/2010)
It's Jules' 42nd birthday and that can only mean one thing: gift contest! Each year, Jules holds a contest to determine who gives her the best gifts, which Ellie always wins. This year, Laurie teams up with Grayson in an attempt to overthrow her. As Jules contemplates what to do for her birthday, Andy suggests a night of dancing. Meanwhile, Travis introduces Bobby to a Netti Pot, but not without its consequences.

Episode 8: Little Girl Blues (Nov/17/2010)
Travis brings home his new girlfriend, Kirsten, who is 23-years-old, to meet Jules. Jules feels threatened after Ellie points out that any girl Travis brings home could be her future daughter-in-law. Meanwhile, Grayson's house has become the new place for the gang to hang out, which he hates, and Travis turns to Bobby for advice.

Episode 9: When the Time Comes (Nov/24/2010)
Jules says "I love you" to Grayson but he does not reciprocate as she expected. She's then determined to host a romantic Thanksgiving to force him to say the words. Meanwhile, Ellie and Laurie try to knock the optimism out of Andy, and Bobby gets mad when the gang confesses that they cannot understand a word he says.

Episode 10: The Same Old You (Dec/08/2010)
Jules tries to help Bobby by fixing his boat and getting it back to the water, to boost his confidence. Meanwhile, Ellie tries to look-up some dirt on Grayson and ends up finding out a hilarious fact about his past. Kristen grows jealous of Travis and Laurie connection, and Bobby tries to qualify for a golf tournament with Andy's help.

Episode 16: Baby's a Rock 'N' Roller (Apr/20/2011)
Jules and Ellie have different views on whether it's more difficult to raise a baby in your 40s than in your 20s. Ellie decides to trick Jules into watching Stan on her own for a whole day. Jules enlists Grayson's help. Bobby is offered the chance to play golf for free to train for a tournament...just as long as he plays before 6am. Andy decides to be Laurie's wingman as she puts tries the dating scene for the first time after her split with Smith.  

Episode 17: You're Gonna Get It (Apr/27/2011)
When Bobby leaves his lucky golf visor behind on the eve of his big professional golf tournament, Jules sends Travis along with the cap to look after his dad and Andy. Meanwhile, Jules tries to overcome her biggest fear - public humiliation - and Ellie and Grayson are astounded at how good Laurie is at a game of trivia.

Episode 18: Lonesome Sundown (May/04/2011)
Although she realizes Travis could be making one of the biggest decisions in his life, Jules takes a step back. Meanwhile, Grayson tries to take an interest in Travis, and the gang establish a "council" to determine each other's punishment in an attempt to stop taking each other for granted.

Episode 1: American Dream Plan B (Jan/06/2015)
Laurie is eight months pregnant and completely annoyed with all that goes with it, especially the fact that she can't drink while watching all her friends sip their wine. Jules tells her friend they will all quit drinking until she has the baby, but it isn't long before the gang secretly sets up a speakeasy in Tom's garage. Elsewhere, Grayson tries to help a clumsy Travis prepare to handle a newborn, while Andy badly misses Bobby, who is competing in a golf tournament in Georgia.

Episode 2: Full Grown Boy (Jan/13/2015)
When Chick wants to go to his Civil War reenactment, Jules is reluctant to let him go because of his health issues. Laurie comes up with some highly original baby names, much to Travis and Ellie's dismay. Bobby considers leaving Gulfhaven for a club pro job in Georgia. Laurie's water breaks two weeks early, and she gives birth to a healthy boy. After Laurie hears that Travis and the gang hated all her baby names, Travis suggests the name Bobby.

Episode 3: To Find A Friend (Jan/20/2015)
Jules and Ellie try to run the bar, after telling Grayson his job is easy. With a couple days off, Grayson holds "Bobby Cobb Replacement" auditions for a downtrodden Andy. Travis and Laurie spend their first weekend together with the baby and worry about every little thing.

Episode 4: Waiting for Tonight (Jan/27/2015)
Travis asks Jules to watch Baby Bobby, as Laurie is six weeks post-delivery and they can now "do it". At the same time, Grayson sets up a dinner date for some badly needed reconnect time with Jules, so Jules secretly asks Tom to watch Bobby. Meanwhile, Andy wants to do something impressive for Stan's birthday, so he dons a Buzz Lightyear suit. He then gets stuck in the suit and has to wear it to an important client meeting.

Episode 5: Even the Losers (Feb/03/2015)
Andy is a wreck after losing his job, then finds out he has also been replaced as mayor of Gulfhaven. Ellie shows Andy a news article that suggests former mayor Roger Frank was behind everything, and the two plot their revenge. It turns out Ellie made up the story, but she is successful in getting Andy out of his funk. Travis uses a loan from Jules to start a dream business, which turns out to be a stupid idea. When Jules runs out of wine and doesn't want to go to the store for more, however, Travis comes up with a much better business idea. Elsewhere, Grayson takes over the elementary school music class that Andy had been running.

Episode 6: The Wrong Thing to Do (Feb/10/2015)
Andy hasn't been to a job interview in 22 years, so Jules and Travis try to help him prepare. Ellie tries to get some alone time from Andy on Bobby's abandoned boat, but she finds that Grayson has already made it his own personal sanctuary. Meanwhile, Laurie encourages Tom to break his rule about dating his co-workers, but she may have unleashed a monster.

Episode 7: The Wild One, Forever (Feb/17/2015)
When a hurricane floods the gym of the local high school, Jules volunteers Gray's Pub to host the prom, with the gang all serving as chaperones. As the event unfolds, the group is forced to relive their high school selves via the students.

Episode 8: This One's for Me (Feb/24/2015)
Gray's Pub closes down briefly due to a termite infestation. Ellie points out to Jules that Grayson leaves for three hours every morning and comes back happier, and Jules is horrified to discover her husband has joined a corny comedy troupe. Andy helps Travis learn the way to a happy marriage: let the wife win every argument, but privately sneak away for "secret treats". Meanwhile, Laurie drives Ellie crazy by constantly dressing herself and Baby Bobby in matching outfits.

Episode 9: Two Men Talking (Mar/03/2015)
Jules tries to force Grayson and Chick to hang out together. After discovering Grayson lied about going fishing with Chick the next day, Jules is furious until Grayson proves it is Chick who wanted to break away from him to meet a female companion. Elsewhere, Andy tries to become part of a snooty group of female parents from the neighborhood, while Ellie and Travis find they can easily connect on an emotional level.

Episode 10: Yes So Bad (Mar/10/2015)
Jules meets Diane, Chick's female companion, then later asks Chick if he would like to invite his girlfriend to dinner. The night spins out of control, however, when Chick brings a different woman to dinner. Travis plays detective to help Laurie track down a woman who stole her cupcake designs, but Laurie thinks it is a ruse that will end in a marriage proposal. Meanwhile, Andy and Ellie grill Tom when he hints that he is treating a celebrity patient at the hospital but refuses to reveal the name.

Episode 11: Climb That Hill (Mar/17/2015)
The gang tries to overcome some personal challenges. Jules tries to read a book all the way through, Grayson tries to be a better listener, and Andy tries to break his habit of putting his hand down his pants when he relaxes, after learning that Stan is doing it in school.

Episode 12: A Two Story Town (Mar/24/2015)
Tom meets a woman named Mary in the hospital waiting room, after treating a relative of hers. He is smitten and wants to ask her for a date but is afraid his creepy side may come out, so his friends all pitch in to help him. Elsewhere, Grayson tries to up his #7 ranking on Jules' list of best kisses she's ever had, while Chick worries about the "Yoko Ono effect" when a member of his all-male jug band wants to bring in his girlfriend.

Episode 13: Mary Jane's Last Dance (Mar/31/2015)
With Jules' birthday coming up, Grayson tries to keep her from calling all the shots and ruining things like she usually does. Trying to get Jules the perfect gift, he coaxes some information out of her and uses it to create a ruse where Travis/Laurie, Andy/Ellie, Tom/Mary and even Chick come up with reasons that they have to move away. In the process, everyone says very nice things to Jules about what she has meant to each of them. This turns out to be Grayson's gift: for Jules to hear what others might say at her funeral.
