About the Show:
The Body Farm is a forensic crime drama series starring Tara Fitzgerald and Keith Allen. Dr Eve Lockhart is one of country's leading forensic pathologists and she and her business partner, Mike Phillips run a state-of-the-art forensic research facility named The Body Farm.

The series is a spin off from Waking the Dead.

Season 1



Episode 1: No Peace For The Wicked (Sep/13/2011)
Eve receives a call from DI Craig Hale who needs her help to investigate an unusual crime scene and she ends up seeing an opportunity to bring some much-needed funding to The Body Farm. The team soon find out that dealing with real people who are suffering in the aftermath of crimes is a lot harder than they ever expected. Eve and the team have to go to a crime scene in a derelict tower block which is very disgusting but also very fascinating. They discover evidence that local teenagers have been using the tower block to hold wild parties. They soon begin to believe that the human remains have some sort of connection to the attempted suicide of a young girl several weeks ago.

Episode 2: Wealth Pays The Rent (Sep/20/2011)
After the severed hand of a young men is discovered close to Harold Penton's estate, Hale believes that Penton is guilty of rape and murder. Penton is successful businessman and a recluse and very keen to protect his privacy. Jimmy West, does his best to prevent Hale from getting too close claiming that Penton is too ill to be questioned. Eve and the team use forensic evidence to press ahead with the investigation and after making a compelling discovery, they still struggle to prove who is responsible for the young man's death.

Episode 3: If You Go Down To The Sea Today (Sep/27/2011)
After a body is discovered dead in the water it is identified as being Connor Ryan, a 35-year-old male. He was part of the crew of a trawler in a small fishing community. Eve examines the body and Hale explains to her that the rest of the crew are also missing. They soon find out that the boat was originally hired by Wilkes to collect samples for a study of local waters. They all work together to investigate the unusual disappearance of the crew and work out what caused Ryan's death.

Episode 4: Sexual Intentions (Oct/04/2011)
Eve and the team go to a women's prison to carry out tests on the body of an inmate called Beth Fox who has been murdered. The injuries to her body indicate that she was beaten to death. Eve believes though that something more sinister has happened. A serious riot has broken out following the discover of the body which makes it harder for the team as they try to gather evidence. Eve finds herself under great pressure to discover what happened to Beth before the press get involved.

Episode 5: You've Got Visitors (Oct/11/2011)
Eve and the team are called in to investigate the death of prominent human rights lawyer Richard Warner. He died in a fire at his house but it is not known if the fire was started on purpose.

Episode 6: Scientific Justice (Oct/18/2011)
Eve and the team have to look into the death of Ray Quinn, who was killed in what looks like a robbery at a classic car garage. Mick and Martin Flannery want to clear the scene so that they can open the garage for business again, but after an initial investigation, Eve believes that there is more to the case than just a botched robbery.
