He should of walked away as soon as he realised what they were doing and you cant call that self defence when they were steeling from him so he was only protecting his goods

It's not like he was helping them when he realise what they were doing he just stood there it was only when it got out of hand he step in so technically at that point he realised he wasn't innocent any more   . How exactly could he walk away he would got caught so he really couldn't walk away. He was already on probation with that investigator this would made him guilty by association.

It looks like Vera has dropped Gladys in it with Marco as she has been friendly with the head of security but glad Gladys was able to make things right with him, Kate finding out her mother is still alive was a nice surprise for her

Yes it really tied up most loose ends in this episode

Just when things are looking up for Kate with the return of her mother and the wedding but now the police are back on her case about her fathers death which is tragic that her father is ruining her life from the grave

Gladys saying she was kicked out of the service because of insubordination was risky and trust Lorna to try and fix it for her which forced her to tell another lie but going back into the factory undercover was interesting, Gladys was lucky she dropped the pencil which would of killed her but killing her boyfriend instead was karma and a nice farewell to Vera
