Who's the hero – who's the threat? When MIA Marine Sgt. Nicholas Brody returns home to a hero's welcome after eight years in enemy confinement, brilliant but volatile CIA agent Carrie Mathison isn't buying his story. She believes that Brody has been turned and is now working for Al Qaeda. What follows is a dangerous game of cat and mouse with nothing short of American national security at stake. In the opener of this "Manchurian Candidate"-like political thriller, a marine (Damian Lewis) rescued after eight years as a POW in Afghanistan returns home a war hero. But a CIA operative (Claire Danes) suspects he may actually be an enemy agent with a connection to Al Qaeda and part of a plan to commit a terrorist act on U.S. Soil.

An undercover agent hands over new evidence to Carrie who is keeping an eye on the surveillance footage of Brody's home.

Episode 3: Clean Skin (Oct/16/2011)
The FBI mole in the Prince's entourage, Lynn, is assassinated. The Brody family prepares for an interview at their home, while father and daughter get closer. Agent Carrie Mathison witnesses awkward intimate moments of the Brody couple on the surveillance cam.

Episode 4: Semper I (Oct/23/2011)
With the warrant running out of time, Carrie's team must pull all video surveillance from the Brody house, but Carrie can't seem to let go.

Episode 5: Blind Spot (Oct/30/2011)
Brody confronts his captor during a C.I.A. interrogation. What happens adds to Carrie's suspicion that Brody isn't a hero after all.

Reeling after losing key players in Nazir's plot against America, the CIA orders polygraphs on everyone who came in contact with them, including Brody, which Carrie sees as an opportunity to finally learn the truth.

While Carrie is near catatonic and confined to bed, Saul investigates the unsettling implications of her timeline; Walker secures a perch for his mission; Brody makes his final preparations for the Vice President's policy summit at the State Department.

Brody finds himself prisoner again, but this time it's on American soil. Meanwhile, Carrie is forced to play second fiddle after her rash judgment call at the hotel as Estes is busy keeping Jessica off their trail.

Episode 6: A Gettysburg Address (Nov/04/2012)
Dana's visit to the hospital proves shocking; Faber's interest in Tom Walker piques the CIA's interest; Brody agrees to team with Carrie and Quinn to prevent an attack on the U.S., but his loyalty is called to the fore when Gettysburg once again becomes a focal point of a pivotal engagement.

Episode 7: The Clearing (Nov/11/2012)
In the aftermath of the ambush, Carrie and the team scramble to gain control of the operation, while Brody attends a well-heeled fund-raiser at a Virginia horse farm.
