About Eli Stone
Eli Stone (Jonny Lee Miller), a successful lawyer at a San Francisco firm, represents some of the biggest companies in America -- companies that have a tendency to screw over the little guy. But after a series of hallucinations, Eli begins to wonder if he was meant for something bigger in life. As he goes about his daily life seeking for a deeper meaning, Eli tries to not lose his job or lose his relationship with the boss's daughter, Taylor Wethersby (Natasha Henstridge). Everything changes when he discovers he has an aneurysm in his brain, forcing Eli to reflect on his life and decide if his condition is medical or if his life was meant for something bigger.

Season 1 Episode Guide



Episode 1: Pilot
Eli Stone has premonitions that make him question his role in life. Eli seeks help from his brother Nathan about the visions who then uncovers something wrong with Eli. Eli then turns to Dr. Chen for alternative solutions to his problems.

Episode 2: Freedom
Eli comes back to work reinvigorated after scattering his father's ashes in the Himalayas. Eli takes a case which involves a married couple seeking compensation from a produce manufacturer for causing infertility.

Episode 3: Father Figure
Eli's latest vision is about a National Guard Specialist serving in Iraq who sues her ex-husband over custody of their son. Eli's fiancée Taylor represents the opposition. Jordan questions Eli's sanity and demands medical proof to deem him fit to work at the firm, as a result, Eli turns to his brother Nathan for false medical testimony.

Episode 4: Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go
Eli's latest revelation is of a man who appears in his TV set asking for help. The man Eli visualized turned out to be one of Nathan's patients who woke up from coma after five years and finds out that his wife has taken over his business and has re-married. The patient asks Eli for a favor to determine a way which would enable him to return to his old life. According to Eli, the only way to do this would be to sue the church by challenging his wife's new marriage.

Episode 5: One More Try
Eli gets a second attempt to make a case right which he previously won for a SUV company by using questionable tactics. Meanwhile, Jordan introduces a couple of new associates to W.P.K.: named Taylor and Keith Bennett. Now Eli will have to deal with his ex-fiancee in his office along with visions of him being in Hawaii. These impact his case negatively due to his weird behavior in the court.

Episode 6: Something to Save
After performing a song in the courtroom, Eli's capacity to practice law have come under scrutiny and he appears before the State Bar of California for a hearing to determine whether he's fit to practice law. However, it's Taylor who pleads to her dad, Jordan, to defend Eli's law license. Jordan agrees to represent Eli but another situation develops, and Nathan has to decide whether he should protect his brother or tell the truth.

Episode 7: Heal the Pain
Eli's new position at the law firm means that he does not have an office, a secretary or the power to take cases. Eli takes the case of a 15-year-old boy whose mother was killed due to a medical malpractice by Dr. Agon. Dr. Agon worked at the hospital where Nathan works, Eli will have to sue the hospital. Jordan, in the meanwhile, assigns Maggie to be Eli's head and so Eli has no choice but to take instructions from her. Taylor, however, organizes a live performance by George Michael in an attempt to square things up with Eli.

Episode 8: Praying for Time
Eli has a vision of an earthquake in San Francisco. Dr.Chen helps Eli realise that the quake is in the region where his client is planning on building a shopping mall by evicting the residents from their home. Eli understands that the only way to protect the people is by his client evicting the people by any means necessary even bribing the judge.

Episode 9: I Want Your Sex
A teenage girl is expelled from school after playing George Michael's "I Want Your Sex" during an assembly. Jordan alongside Eli takes charge of the case, in the course of the case it is revealed that Jordan is a huge fan of George Michael. Eli is motivated to go on a date with Beth Keller, the girl with whom he had sex for the first time and on his date he finds out something about his brother. In the meantime, Taylor and Matt are working together on a case in which they are representing a judge suffering from cancer. They decide to sue the judge's son when he refuses to donate the bone marrow for his father.

Episode 10: Heartbeat
Eli's visions take him back to the day when his father died, while he helps Nathan in court against an angry husband suing because Nathan denied his wife a heart transplant. Eli's vision makes him aware of the fact that his brother is keeping a secret that could be of great help for his case. Also, Eli finds out that his ex-fiancee slept with Matt.

Episode 11: Patience
Eli takes up the case of a prisoner who is coincidently Keith's ex-client. Meanwhile, the law firm is visited by one of its partners, Marci Klein, who wants to investigate as to why the law firm was losing its Fortune 500 clients. This investigation by Marci could threaten Jordan's reign.

Episode 12: Waiting for That Day
Eli has a vision of traveling in a car when all of a sudden an earthquake hits the Golden Gate Bridge. Eli tries to warn people but nobody believes him until he meets Daniel Foote, a scientist that predicts the earthquake. Eli and Daniel try everything they can to shut down the Golden Gate Bridge by suing San Francisco only for Marci Klein to oppose them.

Episode 13: Soul Free
Eli goes in for an operation on his aneurysm, but it doesn't go as planned and Nathan is left with a difficult decision.

Season 2 Episode Guide



Episode 1. The Path
Eli is free from his visions for the past six months after having an operation to remove his brain aneurysm. Nate experiences visions of his own suffering a similar fate as Eli. Taylor is in a dilemma searching for her father.

Episode 2. Grace
Eli has his vision back with a beautiful brunette singing to him. The lady is Grace who turns out to be very much real and not just a vision after meeting her. Eli and Grace fall for each other. The same week Eli represents a father attempting to stop his son from receiving a military burial.

Episode 3. Unwritten
Jordan has a tough task of defending against charges of insanity. Eli is on a mission against lead paint manufacturers that may bring him before the Supreme Court.

Episode 4. Should I Stay or Should I Go?
In the aftermath of Jordan's case, the firm deals with the loss of clients. Eli attempts to convince Matt to stay with the firm, and then receives a vision that will prove critical to Maggie's upcoming wedding.

Episode 5. The Humanitarian
Eli and Jordan have problems with regular clientele and keeping up with costs with their new firm. Eli convinces Jim Cooper, a billionaire philanthropist, to lead the case on trial drug testing. Eli is put in a difficult situation when he learns Cooper's son wants no part in the trial. Meanwhile, Keith represents Patti's daughter on a DUI arrest, while Maggie works to to find the traitor amongst their midst.

Episode 6. Happy Birthday Nate
Eli envisions himself within his father's body. Taylor has news to tell Matt about her pregnancy. Keith presumes the worst of Patti's daughter.

Episode 7. Help
Eli and Keith have a difference of opinion regarding the innocence of their client. Eli begins to understand the bigger picture about his vision which affects his friendship with Patti. Dr. Chen does some matchmaking for Eli with one of his patients, while Maggie gives Matt advice on his relationship with Taylor.

Episode 8. Owner of a Lonely Heart
Eli undergoes a risky acupuncture procedure at the hands of Chen's rival to learn what the future holds for him and Ashley Cardiff after he tells her about his visions. Meanwhile, Taylor learns some unpleasant truths about Jordan while representing him in his divorce case, and Eli receives a vision that he's supposed to represent a Nobel Prize winner who will someday discover the secret of cold fusion

Episode 9. Two Ministers
Eli searches for alternate dark methods to help him with his visions on Nathan's future. Keith and Eli defend a minister and Taylor and Matt find out about the health of their unborn child.

Episode 10. Sonoma
Eli, Maggie, Matt, and Taylor all end up working on the same case in the small town of Sonoma. Eli and Maggie get much closer, but they end up having an argument.

Episode 11. Mortal Combat
Eli and Taylor are assigned to the case of an anchorman who wants his job back, while Maggie takes opposing council. Jordan lets Eli know that winning or losing the case might decide the law firm's fate.

Episode 12. Tailspin
Jordan represents someone for free who has lost his job due to corporate greed, and the case might become the law firm's last crusade. Meanwhile, Eli has visions pointing towards Kenya, where his lost love Grace went to, and Dr. Chen feels responsible for Eli and Nate's father's death.

Episode 13. Flight Path
Eli decides to help a heart transplant patient after seeing her in a plane crash vision. A further vision indicates someone from the law firm being involved in the crash as well.
