About the Show:
Make It or Break It is a American television drama series created by Holly Sorensen that focuses on the lives of teen gymnasts who strive to make it to the Olympic Games.
The series follows a group of elite teenage gymnasts training at top-notch gym Rocky Mountain, known as The Rock. While their individual skills make each of the four girls serious contenders at the upcoming U.S. Nationals, and the Olympics, the group is continuously fraught with internal conflict that threatens to distract them from their goal. With the help of their reluctant coach, Sasha Belov, an Olympic champion, the gymnasts must overcome rivalry, betrayal, familial crises, and financial difficulties to advance to Nationals.

Season 1 Guide



1. Pilot
A young gymnast with dreams of Olympic glory shakes up the status quo at a Colorado training facility.

2. Where's Marty?
The parents try to help the girls get ready for Nationals after the defection of Marty and Lauren from the team. Everything is a mess and Emily worries about her scolarship. Meanwhile, the parents meet to discuss the future of the gym, Payson, Kaylie and Emily go to Denver to get some answers from Marty. But when they arrive at The Denver Elite Gymnastics Club after seeing the competition, will the girls got the nerve to tell Marty and Lauren what they wanted? Meanwhile, Lauren starts to regrets leaving her friends at The Rock when she gets a very cold welcome at the new gym.

3. Blowing Off Steam
At The Rocks, the girls continue on without any direction but are surprise when Lauren, Steve and a new coach arrive. Emily, Payson and Kaylie decide to to to a high school party before the new coach's strict workout regime begins. At the party Emily runs into Razor, Kaylie fights with Carter and Payson thinks she's wasting her time there. Later, Lauren's birthday goes wrong when Summer arrives at the dinner party.

4. Sunday, Bloody Sasha, Sunday
Sasha puts the girls through a brutal day of training as punishment for attending the party.

5. Like Mother, Like Daughter, Like Supermodel
The Rock hosts a mother-daughter fashion show to raise funds for the gymnasts to attend Nationals in Boston, MA.

6. Between a Rock and a Hard Place
Sasha readies his girls for Nationals by planning an invitational with the Denver team.

7. Run, Emily, Run
The Rock is gearing up for Nationals and with it comes more pressure, while Emily has to deal with the consequences of her actions.

8. All's Fair In Love, War and Gymnastics
With everyone gearing up for Nationals, the pressure is on at The Rock. To celebrate, the Cruz family is hosting the Nationals send-off party where, it turns out, everyone has his/her own agenda. Still dealing with her back pain, Payson decides to take a fellow gymnast up on his offer for some anti-inflammatory medicine behind her Mom's back. Summer plays a new card in her relationship with Lauren to see if she could finally turn things around. Lauren, on the other hand, has decided to make her final move to break up Carter and Kaylie for good, with explosive results. But with all the drama going down at the party, what should be a fun event turns out to be something very different.

9. Where's Kaylie?
When Carter comes clean about his infidelity Kaylie takes off the night before leaving for Nationals, and the girls must track her down before it's too late.

10. All That Glitters
The girls' training is put to the test as they compete in Boston for a spot on the U.S. National team.

11. The Eleventh Hour
Kaylie discovers that being a national champion is about more than just celebrating; Payson struggles to deal with her back injury (and the cortisone she took for it). Meanwhile, Damon plans a romantic evening with Emily.

12. Follow The Leader
Marty is named coach of the National team; The girls are upset by the news, so they try to get him ousted. Meanwhile, Sasha finds a new way for Payson to fit in at the gym; Kaylie confronts Carter about his betrayal and Razor tutors Emily in math.

13. California Girls
Kaylie heads to California to attend an A-list party, and the rest of the girls tag along. While there, Payson consults a prominent back specialist. Elsewhere, Chloe tries Internet dating; and someone secretly houses a homeless Carter.

14. Are We Having Fun Yet?
Payson's life is about to get a bit harder when she has to become a regular high school student after being home schooled all her life. With the chaos at school, Payson feels more like a loser than ever and she becomes the new target for the school queen bee. Things get even worse when Kaylie, Emily and Lauren show up to see her. But when she meets a fellow loner Ike, things start getting better. Is Payson going to survive High School?
Meanwhile, Sasha tries to make the annual Open House a fun activity. When he pairs Kaylie and Nicky for a special performance, the fun is over for the two of them.

15. Loves Me, Loves Me Not
Valentine's Day is just around the corner and whether they like it or not, the girls have to face the ones they love. Payson receives flowers and chocolates from her new friend at school, which prompts The Rock parents to over-analyze the situation. Meanwhile, Summer and Sasha share a "moment" of their own.

16. Save the Last Dance
The girls all attend the prom at Payson's school, and Emily unexpectedly sees Damon there. Meanwhile, Lauren discovers that her dad is dating Chloe; Carter tries to reconnect with Kaylie; and a doctor suggests an experimental procedure for Payson's back.

17. Hope and Faith
Emily finds out that her mother is dating Steve after Lauren confronts Chloe. Meanwhile, Payson has an appointment with a top-ranked back surgeon; and the National Team must prove their worth and step up their game.

18. The Great Wall
After Kaylie and Emily are looked over for the chance to go to China Sasha goes over the National Team Committee's heads and invites the Chinese National team to The Rock. Payson returns to The Rock for the first time since her surgery. The aftermath of Ronnie's revelation to Alex causes problems with Kaylie as Carter offers her a shoulder to cry on. Emily life is filled with more problems as Damon tries to win her back, but Kaylie's brother, Leo, returns.

19. The Only Thing We Have To Fear
Kaylie is torn about whether to compete with her team in the upcoming Chinese Invitational or listen to the National Committee and MJ, who tell her to back out of the meet. Elsewhere, Emily has to nail her new vault, but she has trouble staying focused because of Damon.

20. Are We Family?
The girls go up against the Chinese team to prove that they are the best, but the girls are anything but ready. Still mad from her revelation, Kaylie makes a decision that leaves her team in shock. Emily still is still unsure about her gymnastic abilities and a broken heart does not help at all. With the Chinese at the Rock and at risk of losing their position on the National Team, will they be able to pull it all together?

Season 2 Guide



1. Friends Close, Enemies Closer
After going rogue and defeating the Chinese National Team but going against the NGO, the The Rock girls are at their best. But when they find out the National Team is having team practices without them before an Invitational meet in France, the girls are not that confident that they will make the cut. And now Payson is back and she is determined to get to the top once again, but is she really ready? And Carter and Lauren's relationship is starting to heat up, but when will they let Kaylie know about it?

2. All or Nothing
After being allowed back on the U.S. National Team, the girls head to France where everything is left on the mat in order to get one step closer to achieving their dream. With cockiness, jealousy, sabotage and self-doubt at an all-time high, as well as Ellen Beals constantly looming over the girls, the pressure is almost too much to bear. For Kaylie and Lauren, the bickering continues, while Emily pines for Damon and Payson puts her Olympic future on the line. Will Emily be able to have it all – gymnastics and the boy she loves? And will Payson be able to defy the odds and qualify for the National Team?

3. Battle of the Flexes
When the men's Olympic champion, Austin Tucker, begins temporarily training at The Rock, egos clash when he tries to move the girls' equipment. To settle the matter between the male and female athletes, Sasha decides the two must compete for gym space, but there's a catch – the girls must perform on the men's apparatuses and vice versa. With Payson unsure about her future in the gymnastics world, Kaylie, Emily and Lauren are forced to face the men on their own. Will they be able to beat the boys and have the gym they made famous remain theirs? And will Payson choose to fight for her dream, or forever leave the sport that destroyed her?

4. And the Rocky Goes To
The Rock gears up for the annual awards banquet dinner, The Rocky Awards, and Lauren is determined to win the Miss Congeniality award the best way she knows how – with bribery and cheating. But even after all the free smoothies, barrettes and massages, will Lauren get her way or will she be usurped by a silent but strong contender – Emily?

5. I Won't Dance, Don't Ask Me
With World tryouts in the near future, Sasha pushes the girls to better their already difficult floor routines. During what should be a time to focus, Lauren instead finds herself looking to Carter to say the "L" word, while at the same time trying to one-up Emily. Lauren is not the only one facing challenges: Kaylie faces struggles on and off the mat, while Payson wonders if she can ever be the graceful flower Sasha envisions her being.

6. Party Gone Out of Bounds
Austin throws a party at his lake house and invites the girls, but Kaylie doesn't want them go because she wants them to focus on their training. Sasha and Summer go on their first date while trying to keep their relationship under wraps.

7. What Are You Made Of?
Kaylie, Lauren, and Emily have their final National Team practice before World Team tryouts, and Ellen Beals seems to have it out for Emily before the practice even starts!

8. Rock Bottom
An ultimatum backfires on Chloe, and Emily struggles to help out her brother, Brian. After a rough National Team practice, the girls must deal with the outcome. Thrown by the truth behind Emily's scholarship, both the Tanners and the Kmetkos must deal with the outcome of two very angry girls and two adults who are no longer sure they can trust each other. And when information surfaces about Lauren's relationship with Carter, could that secret be the nail in the coffin for Chloe and Steve? And with the true identity of the Kipman Group out there, will Emily be willing to swallow her pride and accept the money to keep her dream alive?

9. If Only...
Lauren's mother returns to Boulder to forge a relationship; Damon takes Emily out on a date.

10. At the Edge of the Worlds
World Team tryouts have finally arrived, and The Rock girls have to fight for spots on the team.

11. The New Normal
Kaylie is put in rehab for her eating disorder and makes a new friend, Maeve, a model who has been in and out of rehab before. Sasha decides to leave The Rock and move back to Romania. Emily is told that under her probation that she is under house arrest and must wear an ankle monitor.

12. Free People
The Rock gets a new coach, and everyone (especially Payson) is a little skeptical about her ability to coach elite-level gymnasts properly. Lauren, however, sees this as an opportunity to get off on the right foot with a new coach that doesn't know about her manipulative tricks.

13. The Buddy System
After being made co-captains, Lauren and Payson are at each other's throats, and Darby's way of difusing the situation is to have them learn each other's routines. Steve finds the original video of Payson and Sasha's kiss on Lauren's computer and confronts her about it. Emily finally discovers that Chloe's new job is at a strip club.

14. Life Of Death
The Rock girls prepare for a meet with the Pinewood Club, the worst-ranked gym club in the country. The girls worry that the Pinewood Club won't give them enough of a competition to prepare them for an up-coming international meet in Hungary. Meanwhile, Damon and Kaylie become closer as he starts recording his album at the recording studio in Kaylie's house.

15. Hungary Heart
On the way to the international meet in Hungary, the girls get a connecting flight to Romania to convince Sasha to come back to The Rock. Meanwhile, Kaylie finally begins the long road to recovery from her anorexia.

16. Requiem For A Dream
Emily's at a crossroads about what to do about her pregnancy, and she gets more bad news when her worst fears about Damon spending so much time with Kaylie are realized when Kaylie confesses to kissing Damon.

17. To Thy Own Self be True
Kaylie finally returns to training at The Rock, but the public is under the impression that her time away from the gym was from an ACL injury, not rehab for anorexia. Soon after, Sasha announces that Kelly Parker is going to replace Emily on the World team, and that Kaylie will be replaced, as well, since she has not had enough time to train.

18. Dog Eat Dog
Kelly Parker's manager, Shelia, arrives at the gym and starts scheming to make Kelly the most recognizable girl on the team, which includes getting Kelly to sabotage Kaylie's bid to make the World team. Meanwhile, Payson and Max come across a stray puppy while out jogging, and as they try to keep the puppy hidden until they can find it a home, Lauren becomes jealous of the amount of time they're spending together.

19. What Lies Beneath
Shelia continues her quest to ruin Kaylie, which now involves taking away Kaylie's new endorsement deal with Healthy Bar. However, after hearing Kaylie give an interview about how Kelly should be the team captain because of her experience and accomplishments, Kelly starts to feel differently about their rivalry. Meanwhile, new details come to light about the true origins of the Payson/Sasha kiss video.

20. Worlds Apart
Sasha and the girls travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the World Championships, and the girls learn that their biggest concern isn't the girls on the other teams: it's themselves.

Season 3



1. Smells Like Winner
In the Season 3 opener, the girls begin their tenure at the USA Training Center. As they adjust to new surroundings, Payson copes with bad news, Kaylie tries to fit her boyfriend into her life and Lauren fears her custom-made perfume is making her ill.

2. It Takes Two
The coach assigns the girls roommates, causing Payson and Lauren to butt heads and forcing Kaylie to confront her trust issues concerning Kelly. Meanwhile, Austin wants Kaylie to think of her future beyond the Olympics.

3. Time is of the Essence
Mac makes no adjustment when transitioning from coaching men's gymnastics to women's, and as a result, his tactics prove ineffective with the girls. Meanwhile, Payson can't escape the lingering ramifications of her kiss with Sasha.

4. Growing Pains
The girls are visited by their families, and Payson's dad gives her some bad news while Kaylie tries to curb her parents' feuding by making Austin tag along to a family dinner. Elsewhere, Lauren is advised to consult a doctor about her condition.

5. Dream On
The girls compete in the semi-qualifications. Meanwhile, Kelly's mother tries to take down Kaylie; Payson gets overprotective about Lauren's health issues; and a new curfew halts Payson's burgeoning romance.

6. Listen to the Universe
Lauren is heart-broken to discover that her heart condition will require surgery and wonders how this will affect her chances of making the Olympic team.

7. Truth Be Told
Lauren undergoes an experimental procedure, and her recovery time weighs heavily on her future as a possible Olympic gymnast. Elsewhere, Jordan's world is shaken by the arrival of an unexpected visitor.

8. United Stakes [Series Finale]
In the series finale, Payson boldly changes her floor routine, jeopardizing her spot on the team. Meanwhile, Kaylie's shocked by her drug-screening results; Lauren weighs her recovery against her Olympic dreams; and Jordan won't accept help from Kaylie.
