King & Maxwell Season 1 General Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

Sean King and Michelle Maxwell aren't your typical pair of private investigators. As discredited Secret Service agents, their unique skills often give them a leg up on suspects and conventional law enforcement. He's charming and always one step ahead of the game; she's a fearless force to be reckoned with. As a team, they're unstoppable.

I wasn't impressed with the first episode i don't know why but banter between them i found forced they really didn't have chemistry and you could see the actor really trying to sell how witty there are but it just didn't work. The Gofer driving the bus like a mad person was stupid action sequence but at least we found there are private investigators and not cops .

The other case was rather interesting but can't believe i didn't see the twist coming.

Why on earth would private investigators chase a runaway bus is bizarre but the lazer pointer to get him to put the gun down was amusing and the way they handled the body guards for grabbing Michelle was great but the result from the satellite footage was great

It was pointless intro to characters

The explanation in the episode was there hired to find him and they did

I actually liked the episode. I think they might  not have great tension between them but I like them working together.
They haven't been partners for long so maybe it's supposed to develop later.
I think the case was interesting and I'm looking forward to see how they will keep it up for the rest of the season.
The chase in the beginning, I think that was meant as intro but the point was getting the pictures for the senator. I just don't see how he got them. So you're right about it being pointless.

1x02 Second Chances

Sean figuring out the blank phone call were a part of an elaborate frame up was great and the way Michelle disarmed the bodyguard was impressive

I like the general episode, but I was a bit disappointed too. I don't know exactly why. I can't really explain it.
I like it that they kept the guy from the other episode, but they don't seem to be treating him the right way. I hope they will be treating him better in the future.

yeah I know, but still, in my opinion, even though they have good intentions, they are using him and not paying him.

He doesn't seem to mind ?

I know, but say this is real life, he is autistic, probably doesn't value money or doesn't understand the value of money.
If you extend the logic, you can say: it's alright to call names to a mentally disabled person cause he will still smile (if he doesn't understand what you are saying) or you can make him believe it wasn't bad, but that doesn't make it right.

Wild Card

Well helping an agent get his job back at FBI was a nice thing to do but to find out he got set up was nice surprise but i can't believe how obvious new guy was the bad guy was predictable.

1x03 Wild Card

Hank getting turned on by Michelle standing on him was amusing and getting Agent Carter's job back after he was suspended was impressive, Sean revealing more about his past as a Secret Service Agent was interesting and looks like Edgar has seen something important on the tape
